It is all started as a self interest and initiated project. We were discussing during early this year to create a series of personal projects mainly focus on expressing our interest in investigating the relationship of nature and human. The opportunity to create commercial work came when we were approached to collaborate with Justlife, an organic brand in Malaysia when they organised Earth Day Carnival in conjunction with the World Earth Day in April 2007. Hence, we created OiOiO-The sound of Orang Hutan, the first in the Orang Hutan series projects. We wanted to create a work that can capture people attention and invite them to get close to nature, contact with mother earth.
