Time Drifters

It is the fourth month and to come, and almost half a year I’m here. Time passes so fast I barely remembered what had happened during the last 2 month. Both exciting, exhausting and thrilling at least. One of the event was to celebrate my boss’s birthday at Cafe Del Mar in Sentosa. Which it’s a place that I’ve never been before. Excitingly, me and my other 3 colleague never been there before as well, which led us to…

Somewhere uphill, and walking down the drips of the rain. This is due to the taxi driver that drove just right into Sentosa and left us uphill near the golf turf.

Gist of Times

As time passes me by, I tend to spend more time sitting down thinking back how I made myself to be at where I am and who I am today. Talk about being nostalgic, and that could be both good and bad I would say, both side of a coin. I’m always trying to tell myself to be grateful of what I have and be good to others *laughs evilly*. But of course I will always be thankful to the people I met, be it those that gave me good or bad experience, one thing I know, is that it will always teach me something new, albeit being negative or hurtful to me as well. I’m a better man now, and striving to be better.

Had a chance to drop by Sushi Zanmai on my trip back. The place is as cozy as usual, but people are filling u up the place fast. Perhaps one thing I think that lacked back then was responses from their services.

Wandering Elsewhere

Time has really passed undefinitely fast without me realizing it. This is the third month. And being abroad feels, same…What is really different that I’m really almost on my own. Learning more things by the day and had to deal with various stuff that previously was helped by my friend or parents. Enough rambling, let’s see what’s up for the past April?

Some weird advertisement I bumped into one of the bus stops at Tiong Bahru.

Some delicious insta-snack from Taiwan, courtesy of my Studio Manager/Art Director.

Once you pop, you can’t stop. Much harder than your Pringles.

Stumbled upon this weird looking Vitagen-ish bottle. And at first I thought it would be chocolate flavoured milk.

But upon the first sip, I realized it’s coffee.

The big launch, Hardboiled Magazine

And as I talked about the previous project I was working on, it was really an adrenaline rush up to my brain.

But it was fun nevertheless, missing the rush with my fellow colleagues as well. My workspace (last time, now switch). Was right directly below the air-cond.

And was addicted to this drink, tastes weird, but nice? Kinda like ribena on weed.

And a walk out the street is like this. I wondered why people around me keep on saying this would be one of the safest street in this country, I wondered. And now I know, it’s the residence of the Chief Minister. Mr.Lee.

Phew.

The nearby Nasi Campur, also known as Dirty-Place by my colleague. But to my surprise, the smoking area is far more spacious and comfortable at the back of the shop.

The night of the magazine launch. http://www.hardboiledmagazine.com

And it was in conjunction with Earth Hour Singapore. Yay, 1 hour off of electricity.

Not mine :P

The supporters from inside out.

Limited edition 20$SGD.

My paycheck. To my suprise, in contrary to Malaysia, you only need to write the name and account number of yours at the back of the cheque directly. Clearance is about 1 day for local and oversea. Nice.

Milk addiction.

Another nice souvenir from my colleague that is just back from Taiwan.

And for the past week has been some crazy unpredictable weather, heavy rain. that led to sudden power outage.

This is how it looks outside 6 AM in the morning.

First coach from Novena Square. Up until now, I am satisfied.

And this is right outside of Aeroline Sunway. I am TOO satisfied.

spacious.

And with food served. The plus? They provide you blanket to sleep at late night journeys.

You areee MyYyy Beautiful Girll..
And I am surprised again, had a chance to drop by Sean Kingston first gig in Singapore.

Looks like Zouk KL. But more spacious. Since it’s targeted towards a younger age audience, no alcohols are allowed inside. *cough*

Nice right? Wait until you see the size of it.

More nice.

Chillin with Wii.

Was at here to celebrate farewell with one of the colleague.

Great cozy place to be at.

Racing with times. Side by side. Konsortium and the big guy Aeroline.

Hands – Chaos in UNISON

This is the famous spot for live performance and art show. KLPAC (Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre)

[Rant] 2nd Class Treatment, 1st Class Payment – Daylight Robbery

This is merely the most unsatisfying travelling experience from me myself after the horrifying incident travelling back to Kuala Lumpur from Larkin, Johor Bahru through a school bus with RM45 paid!

What’s really shocked me and unbelieveably surprising that this service was PERCEIVED by me to have a reputable name from it’s partner with G****** over some bonuses to its member, some discount or whatsoever. This is really disturbing because you are not paying peanut over travelling from a short distance but,

1. You pay paying almost a premium, and with this amount, you can get far better service with other provider

2. You are treated as if you’re travelling on school bus, literally.

3. False promises all the time

4. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I REPEAT. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE BY LYING ALL OVER AGAIN!
