[Part 4] Shanghai, Bye?
Following from the previous post, Hoven and me was running around the town surveying for latest iPhone prices from around different shops and we stumbled back to Gang’Hui again.

And there’s a show, a runway.

Apparently my connection has been acting like a bitch lately, making me mad and taking hours just to open up a new page. But somehow working as freelancer is not as what I imagined earlier would be easy though. When you are juggling different task at one time while you need to keep your mind clear and stable, in a way that you wouldn’t end up overloading yourself with stress from half-stalled work. Imagine typing over this pile of xxxxxx hell over 5 times. God damn it.

Coming back from the previous post where I was walking down the street that is known as HuaiHai Road. Filled with interactive billboard and advertisements all the whole long road.

Me, has no association with the original brand itself. So don’t sue me
Thanks to sin and hoven for pointing this place to me. Wahahaha. JUMP!
At last, after numerous walk around the town itself, here I have a mild update on whats happening here. It’s pretty cold right now on the street as it may go down to 15C at night. But everything’s really nice till now. Million of thanks to kelly, sin and hoven first, if not I already sleeping under the bridge -_-

Oh so what’s about it ? I had a last minute call, and I had a last minute notice. Of course everyone was shocked, so is me. I buy, I prepare, I fly.

Seriously, I love my family more than ever. You never know how much support they are to me from this decision of mine. My sis-in-law and brother and my cute little nephew
. Oh no you need to pay to see his face. Too cute to be public.
Upon arriving

The impression of this place is massive, the airport has huge number of people. I was shocked, all is in Chinese language. I was stunned. But thanks to my little literacy in hearing and talking Chinese, I managed to get pass the airport and inside a taxi without much hiccup.

While on the way towards the place where I’ll stay. This is one hell of a long limousine.

While meeting up for the first dinner.

After dinner walking the street experience. Beautiful buildings. Lots of designer shop around.
VW as taxi here.

The streets around the town are, vibrant. That’s how I can summarize it. An unique blend between Eastern and Western. And it doesn’t look jinjang in any way.

Oh, this bank? Saved my ass couple of time, and it accepts my damned debit card. Guess what, I’ve only changed 200RM while being here at first and has tons of ringgit malaysia that I forgot to convert to USD. Damn.

Walking down one of the famous street in town.

Most of the building here are like 2x Pavillion KL and mind you, that some of it are just for food.

People.

In front? Some building that are like Lowyat. But ridiculously I find their price are….weird?60RM for a normal mouse? wtf?

BEEERR!!!…..nah if you spell it backward. Price? 1.50 RM
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNEEEEE

It’s a massive surprise to able celebrate her Birthday upon few days of my arrival in Shanghai. Has been almost 2 year since I saw her in real-life situation.

Had a really nice steamboat session with all of TOAian and some really cool Wanganui people here. Anne’s ex colleague are there as well. Man, who’s there? Anne, Linyew, Yeo, Ranran, Kelly,Hoven, sin, Anne’s classmate Henry, and supposingly HaiEr should come but because of typhoon season, she’s not here. Talk about typhoon. It’s only 2 days and I’m greeted with such a great “welcome” gift.

Oh, you must be wondering how the hell I navigate around the town in Chineese? Wikimapia really, literally saves my ass.

Was walking back the cozy night. The feel is nice
More updates coming soon again. Gotta get to work now.

I’m currently typing live from the country where it might have the largest population in the world, China. Currently online with the connection from the hotel itself. I guess I’ll able to do some firmer update after going around and settle down.
