[Inspiration] Uniqloism

show
UNIQLO : SHOW

My favorite apparel brand has never fail to amaze me again and again. Followed by their overly succesful Uniqlock campaign, I’m pretty sure some of us  wouldn’t mind to have all these beautiful dancers as screensavers, a great promotional tool and marketing idea from the agency itself.

march

UNIQLO : MARCH
Being only good looking people doesn’t mean that is the criteria to get into modelling, at least in the context of the site, you may end up being selected as one of the March-er and invited to Tokyo for the photo shooting session! What is most intriguing for me is that they literally launched the site during March 2009, which coincidently, is the name of the campaign, which depicts marching around with their cloths. Damn.

Update May 18, 2009 : Got a link from Eugene, thanks!

UNIQLO : Reborn
Over-ambitious expansion and over-reliance on one product nearly ruined Uniqlo, but now the Japanese retailer is back in fine style.
It’s a great insight on how the brand that seems to go downhill went back again over to the top.

[Inspiration] Good tribute by Facebook

“Facebook lens flare combo: click anywhere in FB, then hit the keys: up up down down left right left right B A enter, roll yr mouse scroll” via http://desktop.seesmic.com/

Well I’d think it’s a smart move from their marketing department to pay such a tribute to Contra fans. Many would love this subtle detail though it might not be good looking, but it will definitely generate lots of buzz and fun around it.
