[Travel] Perhentian Island, Part 3 of 3

And here we are at the final conclusion of the travel log to Perhentian Island, Terengganu, Malaysia. If you have been reading the previous 2 part of the story, through this 4 day 3 night trip, we had been staying at two places, namely Shari-La Resort and Bubu Resort(pictured below). It’s rather a pleasant trip with this kind of setting, since we did felt that having the 3 days 2 night trip to BuBu only is pretty hectic and rush, though they had made a package that it’s designed for a weekend getaway from the city.

Take a glimpse at what BuBu would offer you in the package. Though the listed item on the board has a list of planned schedule, it really depends on the weather somehow. But you would eventually get to all those places at the end of the trip.

[Travel] Perhentian Island, Part 1 of 3

It may have been a while since the last travel post I have made on my blog, but I will be gladly to share with you my experiences throughout the entire trip. Located just right on the bottom of South China Sea, on the upper part of Malaysia, Perhentian literally means “stops”. It’s a stop that everyone that loves island should at least spend time on this place. It’s exceptionally beautiful and you can’t really imagine that Malaysia has one of these gem hidden inside the country.

To get a glimpse on where it is located, click on the image above. It will lead you to Google Maps that points you to the exact location of the island. Perhentian is also located nearby to other exotic and popular islands such as Redang or Lang Tengah Island, which made this island special because of it’s coziness and less crowded compared to Redang. Generally, the island is separated into 2 piece of land which known as Perhentian Besar (Big Stop) and Perhentian Kecil (Small Stop). Funny but true.

What would be the best time to visit this miraculously beautiful island? It’s said that during the period of March-June where the Monsoon winds and rains were on the other side of the country, so you’ll definitely get a full blast sunlight on top of your head. We were there during the period where the locals would catch squids! Too bad we didn’t take part in it. Would be fun to have ink splashed on your face.

The crews on the trip, just a friendly disclaimer, all of the pictures on this 3 part of the trip, are not taken by me, though digital post-processing are done by me. So you might be able to see some different style in photography. In fact, I didn’t have my camera with me at that time.
