[Travel] Part 4 of 6, Laos – The Forgotten Land

Welcome to Luang Prabang

After enduring more than 12 hours of ass-pained ride inside the “VIP” bus from Vientiane, we finally reached the once-glorious capital of Laos. If you reach here the first time, try catching up on the log on the first part to Laos.

I can’t really describe what is my feeling on this 12-hours ride inside the bus. First time experience, and from whatsoever blog that you can read from the internet can’t justify the experience, really. Most of the information that I have gotten…

  • It’s a long ride – true
  • It’ll be a winding road all along the way – true
  • You won’t have a good sleep – agree

It was hell back then. Basically something that I suppose to complete within the 2 week stay using Social Travel Pass (White Card) in SG.

Went to Klang bus station and took the usual route down to JB/SG. Costs me around RM35. And of course, I suppose to expect an early trip from 8am onwards, but they said that only 11AM will be the first ride. And so on.

Riding down south

And here I am. Reached at approximately 6:30 P.M. Cool eh? With all those continous stopping. 6 hours is what they can take you.
