[Travel] Part 2 of 5, Cambodia

In the previous post of this travel log, I mentioned about this holiday is in October, which meant that it’s still one month away from November. Reason? To avoid the unnecessary peak season crowds. Downsides? It’s still a pretty wet season here in Cambodia, until November.

Did I mention that Khmers have huge affections towards river?

Also earlier :

  • We looked at the Angkor sunset at Phnom Bakheng
  • Bought the 3-day entry ticket
  • Told the guest house that we will be going on a tour for the next 3 day, transport to be arranged by the guest house

We woke up at 5AM to prepare ourselves for the sunrise observation at Angkor. It was raining so heavy that the front door of the guest house is flooded. Usually the arrangement to see Sunrise in Angkor is simple.

As we woke up and prepared to go for the tour. There is this young man, by the name of Pele (Footballer name), asked if I’m going on the morning tour, I answered, yes, and we boarded his exquisite Tuk-Tuk, partially furnished.

  • You talk to your guest-house’s receptionist on your interest in going on a tour, particularly in the morning where the sun rises behind Angkor Wat
  • You will most likely need to depart from the guest house by 5AM, hence, waking up at 4AM, local time.

Penang Auto City’s Weekend Auto Show (Unofficial?)

It was a random weekend where we decided to take a trip down the land of the Fried Keow Teow. To my surprise, there is a countdown event in conjunction to Christmas’ Eve. Where S.H.E. (Taiwan’s Chinese Pop Girl Band) member, Hebe was here last night (I was only here on Saturday).
