If you have recently travelled to Taiping or Maxwell Hill in Perak, you might wonder where you could take a trip down the hidden path of the locals for some good food? Here I would like to share with you the little sleepy town less known to the outside world except those found out from word of mouth. Take a trip down to Kuala Sepetang which is about 15 minutes drive away from the town of Taiping.
Good morning Ubud
As this would our the last day in Bali, we spent the morning around the town again.
We decided to spend the last day of our trip in Ubud, and strolled around the town…
We arrived nearby some paddy field filled with a lot of ducks.
And I’m really touched as I come across the NOT FOR SALE sign. I once read that there are still some locals are pretty much believed in preserving their cultures and traditions, especially the main source of food, rice. Despite the rapid development that changed and took place in Kuta, Ubud’s are still pretty much converse it’s tradition, and the elder believed if everyone start selling away their land for commercial development, there is soon no place for people to plant rice, and feed the young ones.
After spending a day out from Ubud, we took the entire day to explore within Ubud.
It is pretty pleasing to be woken up by a bunch of ducks in the morning.
