Hello Shanghai

I’m currently typing live from the country where it might have the largest population in the world, China. Currently online with the connection from the hotel itself. I guess I’ll able to do some firmer update after going around and settle down.

Wake Me Up When September Ends

It was sure nostalgic looking back all these years spent with a lot of cool and interesting personality individuals.

But everything has a start and an end to begin with.

All the best for them and myself. Oh well, how was it been then? Freelancing is somewhat, something different. It may sounds cool to run around freely but it doesn’t at time when it comes to money matters. You know.

The skies

It has been almost the same, probably different due to me waking up in the afternoon daily :P But great breeze lately due to the rain.

A very different approach type of music but I sought to learn a lot of interesting typography detail here.

And then there I recommend you to study this album. Courtesy of Mr.Kenny.

Plant a tree today. *cough*

What else?

Occasionally went back to Klang. Broke my car once. Was pretty bad damaged to say.

Went to Central Market for some extensive interview session with 2 damn interesting individual. Yet to post it up due to…time.
Some really cool stuff sold there.

And…well…toilet entrance there. I can’t really imagine what happens when you have only RM50.

Jams in the evening, as usual.

Get to visit the mall during the working time is a…something different?

Messing around with my camera. Anyone want to donate a DSLR to me? :P

Flying Low

Below are some quick update on what I have been doing while being on hiatus?

Finding Paths

Month of August?

Considering it would be the transitioning period of my life, I do not really wonder if the cloud or sky are as my emotion. Cloudy, greyish? But for the past few years upon graduating is really refreshing experience. And man, time does pass so fast, looking back, reading back Crayon Shin Chan, I was like…12 years old back then? And now, I’m on my way to 24.

Cruisin’ Downtown

And of course I’d take this as a big break from all those crazy working time back, while preparing my folios, I walk around.

At first though, I wanted to drive inside the SMART tunnel to experience how smart it would be, but I didn’t end up using it due to some stupid traffic blocking my way.

Used this alternate road towards Lowyat Plaza instead. I’m surprised I didn’t go through any trouble using this road instead of the usual Sungai Besi super hyper jam road. This leads to the Chan Sow Lin LRT Station?

And it brought me to this area where it’s flooded with a lot of chicken rice shop, with brand. Kokok.

Of course going down the hectic place doesn’t mean I’ll go without reason, it’s for photographing the rumoured good advertisement that is used on the monorail. I noticed that at the time around, MYFM was running a 50-hours live outdoor broadcasting. Good thing I didn’t able to get near, it was packed.

And oh so, not so impressive it seems. I decided to give it a ride to see the interior instead.

The one-way journey card.

Ah, seaminglessly pasting one huge billboard onto a monorail. I’m utterly disappointed.

Funny how these arrows pointing , compared to Singapore or Taiwan. Oh well, as you can see that big brands are eligible to buy these monorail stop as their branding station. The huge and most big one would be the Imbi and Sungai Wang stop. Real big money.

Well, the rails are ain’t that huge compared to the usual LRT or Star LRT. You’ll get the feeling of riding a rollercoaster that is coated outside with a lot of plastered advertisement.

Lookie, what you see? A brand new Wii controller. At first I might thought to risk myself to grab a free few hundred by reselling it, but on the second though, nah, I’ll have to do some Jackie Chan evading stunt if any of the train comes nearby.

Ah, that is so exciting kind of ads…

As expected, it’s merry inside during the weekend.

And at each station, they have their own theme. I mean, advertisement.

I took a stop here.

And go out for some fresh air.

It’s been ages since I’ve been here due to the annual PC Fair is held in KLCC now, which last time, during my Form 5 era, I always took the KTM to the PWTC for the PC fair. cool eh. And guess what, I don’t buy anything there.

Well, can’t expect much of a design anymore.

Going back on another monorail, this time around, it has some small ads packed onto the handle of the rail.

So I’m pretty bored of it, left the place.

Head to my usual joint, Lowyatttttttt Plaza. And guess what I’m surprised Samsung did some continuation of their original installation! That guy is not stucked in the middle anymore. Does that mean they’re the leading on monitor industry now? Eh?

Going back Home

And did I ever mention that Klang is famous for it’s crows? It sounds foolish in B.M., we call it Gagak. GA–GAK.

And this dog seem to always be in tensionish mood.

A ridiculously huge building nearby the Klang River.

Driving back to Sunway made me realize how much clouds that I’ve missed during the past years, I mean, I’ve not taken much picture to inspire my life for the past year? I guess that might be the case.

Whee? Wii!

Oh well, I guess this might be a memorable week before I left, some exercise at work.

We do take that seriously, and thanks ahbonk for bringing that in, will you buy me one? Eh?

Congratulations Spencer+Chienni

Just came back from attending the ever heart warming event, a wedding dinner for both Spencer and Chienni. I never expect that it would be so warm. And from every single wedding dinner I’ve attended from my dear friend around me, I obtained something new, that sorta shed some light for me to pursue what it may seem impossible for me.

dsc01052.JPG

I knew that both of them are a really loving couple but I’ve never imagined that it went beyond my expectation of both of them, the respect and love they had for each other. All of the showreel shown in the dinner was spectacular, the wedding invitation card is one thing that rendered me speechless when I look at the ‘making’ of it. Maybe there are people saying that it might not be a big deal of having this, that they may did something even bigger than this, but for me, it’s already something that surpassed the ordinary, on how people might perceive a marriage is.

dsc01053.JPG

It’s really more than that from what I can see in both of them. I even in deep respect of their elders, and I was surprised the moment they went on stage and celebrate it with various dancing moves, reminding me afterall, it’s not about a celebration on how grand the dinner may be, or how much of a ‘routine’ it may be in a wedding dinner, but a celebration and respect of both the young and old one, I really like the atmosphere there.

But what’s more really worth to be shared is the duration of they shared the moment together, that it may be more than almost 10 years ? I’m not too sure but it is something worth mentioning, that it is really hard to maintain a relationship, with both being understanding and tolerant to each other’s ambition, one being a boss of the top animation studio in the country…talk about having great career and family at the same time. I’m envious and happy at the same time for them. Really. Word can’t express my thought at the moment.

May both of you “Bak thau dou lou!” Deepest respect.

Cheers. See you guys at the top.
