[Tips] 6 must-have apps if you are in Singapore

  1. An iPhone user?
  2. Working/living in Singapore?

If you say yes to the above, I think the 6 apps below is a must have.

1. My SG Bus

This app allows you to check for the waiting time of the bus that you are taking. Simply key in the bus stop number (i.e. 50111) and select the bus number available on the bus stop and BAM!

2. PropertyGuru Singapore
This is one of the most useful and effective app I have ever used. Not only you are able to narrow down your searches, but the map-based search enables you to look at relevant results with ease.

3. ComfortDelGro Taxi Booking
If you often find yourself stucked in a long taxi queue during rush hours, this app saves you a lot of time and trouble from remembering the hotline (which is always engaged). The cool feature of the app is you are able to track down the approximate location of the cab that you booked.

4. SMRT Book A Taxi
An alternative option if you are not able to book any cab via ComfortDelGro’s channel.

5. Showtimezz
Bored during the weekend? I found that this utility awesomely useful for hunting down the latest flicks around the town (or near you!). You will be able to sort the results from type of movies to cinema locations. Definitely one of the must-have. Did I mention that you can book via the app as well (It’ll redirect you to the cinema’s website)?

6. Trafficam SG
Are you driving around Singapore? No? It will still be very useful route-planning utility if you intend to move about the island. It is especially useful if you plan to make a quick trip down to Johor Bahru (Malaysia) and curious about the traffic conditions at the Causeway (immigration).

Thank you for reading and hope you will find it useful. Would love to hear your must-have apps if you are also living and working here in Singapore. What’s yours? Share it in the comments!
