[Random] What’s for lunch today?

MC lunch. Took few pictures of the process. The result was…ehem. This would be officially the third time I cooked for lunch. This was a collaboration with Ms. Canny. *cough*


The end result, dishes including egg custard with minced meat, old cucumber soup, some kind of fish with ginger, and some messed up vegetables (I’d admit it’s me :P ). 1 Word of advice, if you know nothing about cooking, do not worry, I don’t as well, read up on the “correct” instruction in preparing a dish, this will at least make you enjoy your fruit of labor without pain in the toilet later :P

Preparations and chopping things up

Some celery and carrots, apparently, they are too much to be consumed by 2 person.

Some minced meat. And there is the fish, prepared to be cooked.

Though I had experience with minced meat, this is the first time I need to cook eggcustard with minced meat, which involves steaming of the food.

Nom nom nom, it’s mixed with the necessary flavoring and ingredients like salt, pepper, soy sauce, dark soy sauce and…couldn’t remember.

3 eggs is sufficient for serving about 2 – 3 people.

Ta-daa, preparing for steaming, the water needs to be made sure that it is enough.

Cooked partially, I was shocked at first because it doesn’t look like what I expected, a flat surface, so I thought “FUUUUUUU~” must’ve cooked with wrong ingredient.

But then realized actually are caused by the air or something.

And finally, after about 1 hour 15 minutes, the food is ready to be nom-ed (eat). Should do better next time. Luckily didn’t take pictures of me cooking the veggies. Lol.
