[Travel] Perhentian Island, Part 2 of 3
I’d hope you enjoy the brief introduction I made over the trip to Perhentian Island, this is the second part of the log which would be the quickest of all three. While we spent 1 day previously at Shari-La resort which is located at the much quieter side of the island, you’ll be surprised to find a whole lot of Malaysian on this side of the beach.
The sands are smooth and white.
And of course there’s several stalls that are abandoned (seems like).
Another group of people from different cities came together in an island getaway. Seems pretty rough for the guy covered with sands.
Bubu Resort – 3 Days 2 Night getaway
As I have previously mentioned which this side of the island has more Malaysian, partly because it would be more well-developed. Known as Bubu resort, they are already providing a well free-and-easy package for people that is looking for a short and sweet island getaway for a period of 3 days 2 night stay in the hotel. While most backpackers, as we can see, prefer to stay at a more cheaper alternatives at around RM30 or below per night (backpacker hostels).
The “lounge”?
View from the balcony of the place we stay.
There’s really nothing much you need to worry about getting hungry if you are taking the package, since you’ll be taking up to 4 meals per day, served by them. Buffet style.
There is various activities that you can explore from here on, namely diving courses which I would strongly recommend you to take it, even if you do not know how to swim, it doesn’t matter, you’ll learn in no time. They are really friendly too! (Just like the squid there)
And of course, a good massage after an exhausting activities would be good as well.
Or you can just sleep for the whole day right outside of the resort?
The staff’s friendly as well. For your information, although it’s weird for me to know this, they seem to only serve much more chicken, beef or fish. You can hardly find lamb steaks, though you can order it, from the mainland, and deliver it to you right afterward (yes really).
Wonder of the craftmanship that is done on the roof, made out of dried leaves?
Below would be the other part of the series that you can continue on :
