A pretty twisted illustrator from Singapore. I actually fond of this kind of daring work. A very strong statement from his illustration. But of course, not everyone can accept that.

Stop H*Commerce

At first when I went into the site, I thought it’s a movement by Symantec or equivalent, and didn’t notice the McAfee brand until later, and though that the brand died off in the early 2000. They were a bunch of great dudes back in 90’s but slowly overshadowed by Symantec’s Norton Antivirus. It’s nice to see them making a lot of positive comeback in this industry. However, aside from a damn fine professional job at the site’s transition and interface design. It’s really :

• Usable, from all the visual indications on what you can do and click next.
• Slick, no-nonsense site
• VERY informative towards mainstream audience that NEEDS to know about basics in avoiding scams, hackers and jargons that they always bumped into the internet world.

So this is a MUST visit for those that has no idea what a backdoor means, no it’s not your house’s back door. Please.

Human Interface
Sometimes the sweetest idea comes from things that is close to us in our daily lives, or actions. There should be one big prop to the groups that did this, lots of nice touches done on the frame-by-frame animation, illustrating how the future, computers would work, literally. Touching human…andriods.

Guten Touch
Another great feat from the same group (Multitouch Barcelona) that did the videos above are their other experiment with multitouch medium. It amazes me how smooth they have figured out for the multitouch application demos.

This little friend was found when I was shopping with Canny on one fine day along the Pasar Malam for some fresh vegetable. Nom nom nom.
