Wheelie Around The Town

Journey to the west

Though not me, but got this from my boss through their trip to New York, toy from kidrobot.

And also an official namecard from uniqlo.

Cool, now I have a bullet in my hand.

Travelling securely.

Getting back to the idea of travelling, this time around, I headed towards the famous bus parlour near Beach Road inside Singapore, where most of the bus will stop at. It is located right inside a building called GOLDEN MILE COMPLEX. Just tell the cab driver, and they will immediately take you there.

The look from outside of the complex.

Some of the buses around.

The buses in action near the parking lot.

The one I took, although on the expensive side, I realized it that the price hiked compared to buying it through Johor is because we paid for the transportation fee inside Singapore – Johor. I felt its justifiable since you need not to travel a far distance back to the custom.

Looks…dope.

TV built in. Some Video On Demand kind of stuff.

Game ready as well, didn’t bother to play

The brand itself, apparently it’s quite popular among the tourists.

How the seat looks, and do not be deceived from it’s lame look? It’s actually quite comfortable that you can extend the chair all the way, just like how business class seats in plane work.

Something along the seat at the side. A light perhaps?

Claiming rebates

I was back for a week on this rebate claim as well, and never realized I had a car registered under my name as well! The process is really simple as rumoured. Just, you and your I/C. And a little bit of patience.

Head over to the nearest post office and grab a waiting number. While waiting, fill up the details such as your name, I/C number, address, the car’s plate number. It’ll be almost a painless process if you follow the instruction closely.

Pass it to the person in-counter when it’s your turn.

They’ll be needing your fingerprint for verifications.

And in return, a slip of the payment, and the money itself

On the other hand, I don’t usually give much credit to local foods served in cafes, but my sister tried this and kept mentioning it infinitely that I think I should give a bit of credit to it, found in Bee’s cafe. The local Mee Goreng. Try it.

Travelling securely (part 2

Once again, in my search for true journey back north. Once again I opted for a travel inside Singapore back to Kuala Lumpur. From the Golden Mile Complex. The price seems to be fixed around 35$-50$ which any of the bus will give you a decent seat.

At least you need not to worry about walking uphill towards an unidentified bus.

The bus itself.

The seats.

Same company, different bus in front.

The Singapore Flyer right…across the bridge.

One years old.

Picture says it all. Congratulation again :)

Local Chinese delicacies.

It has been almost few years I have not tried this local fried noodles. Known infamously as the Hokkien Mee (pronounced as Hawk-Cain-Me) or in Cantonese…Fuk-King-Me (Yes)

And not to mention, how oily it is, but it is certainly good to an extend you will remember the taste.

And the place itself.

Nostalgia kicks in.

Have you ever had a hobby last time as a collector? I am…not. Just that I followed the trend for a while before it died off, like….30 minutes long? Anyway, I was looking through the old stuff I had and came across this pile of book I had. I almost cried that I forgotten I had this before. What’s inside?

WOO hooo some classic stamps!

I never realized I was so awesome last time! Anyone wants to buy? for like….1 trillion usd? :

How about this! Instant Classic! Wooooo Hooo!!! I lost all of my collection, but never realized I still keep it! In good conditions! Damn. After more than a whopping decade.

Shiny cards!

Vegetta says hello once again. (Cries)

How about this? I’m sure some of the baby borned in the year of 80s might have experienced this in their primary schools. The autograph-fever. Where you can purchase this near the bookshop inside the school itself, and randomly asking girls for their autographs. (laughs)

But looking back, I was shocked how creative we can be back when we are like…12 years old.

I have not seen most of the friend inside the autograph books itself, and I’d doubt if the numbers inside of the book still works now. I’d certainly would like to meet with them again

Proof that this thing has gone over a period of time.

Design at that time? Talk about signature handwriting.

Fruits of labor.

A very nice gift from our client :D . The handmade cookies.

I was surprised with the contents inside, it’s pretty well thought off.

Eggs, chickens, yolk. What can you ask for?

And it’s sweet!

After days of sleepless nights. With collaboration on the other artist, we have both the site and this album art that looks really interesting.

Wow, first look.

Yay. Although not mentioned as my usual name. siaukia?

What’s the period?

One of the usual buildings around Singapore.

I think for this 2 month, my work will be piled endlessly like the buildings ahead

Had a chance to listen to sharing from one of he top player in the mobile content industry, breakdesign, and he’s really nice to share some of his experience and work with us. And in return as well, a hand-made gifts. And there’s even much of mention on how the whole love of his work started as a hobby but turned into love-hate relationship when too much of client work involved, and how it starts to switch back to more work that they eventually or supposingly to like more.

The yolk-o bear.

Looks badass.
