[Rant] 2nd Class Treatment, 1st Class Payment – Daylight Robbery

This is merely the most unsatisfying travelling experience from me myself after the horrifying incident travelling back to Kuala Lumpur from Larkin, Johor Bahru through a school bus with RM45 paid!

What’s really shocked me and unbelieveably surprising that this service was PERCEIVED by me to have a reputable name from it’s partner with G****** over some bonuses to its member, some discount or whatsoever. This is really disturbing because you are not paying peanut over travelling from a short distance but,

1. You pay paying almost a premium, and with this amount, you can get far better service with other provider

2. You are treated as if you’re travelling on school bus, literally.

3. False promises all the time

4. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I REPEAT. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE BY LYING ALL OVER AGAIN!

[Toy] Type And See /w Source

Hello Type

I had not think of a name for this tool yet. Might will release the source when I clean it up.
Was originally inspired by yugop on his creation @ amaztype. But that was years ago before BitmapData is even out. That really made me wonder what kind of algorithm he thought of to make this work. A pure genius.

Update : 26th April 2008

Source file is commented and available for download at http://www.manmeng.net/fun/mm_sticky_particle.fla

Demo is viewable at

[Toy] YouBrowser – Look For Video

YouBrowser – Look For Video (literally)
I had some chance earlier last year to play around with YouTube’s API and I’m looking forward to improve this toy. Basically when we want to find something, etc “look” we really want to look around. So I hope you will find this useful and have fun “looking” for top videos.

Do keep the comments and suggestions coming in to make this one a better one for all of us. Cheers!

Downing Up

It has been 2 month? That was a fast time looking back being here. And I was almost on the verge of bankruptcy due to misfinancing from myself. Doh. Really stupid. But I learnt finally no matter how, every purchase made here or contract signed on those broadbang/mobile phone. LOOK and look millions of time before making a commitment to it. It sounds even scary when you are tied 2 years to the same plan after you purchase a mobile phone with them. So gay.

What’s up for the past month here? It’s been rampant here with this. It’s like the Prison Break ala-live action I told you. I even had mms from the police about this.

Some local herb tea. Not bad. Its brand is as big as Yeo’s back from our lovely home country. But perhaps, I still prefer Yeo’s brand revamp, which this is still pretty, old school.

The infamous Kung-Pow Chicken Rice near the place I stay.

This is some really weird cat I stumbled.

Basically if we are to meet cats back in Malaysia, they fled even before we are close to them by 10 metres. This is weird?

Who’s there?

Some morning blue that I had with some chilly rain.

The usual bus I took to work, N.195

But out of some magic, guess who I stumbled across? It’s not once! But twice! That’s more than being coincidence! Oh well, that’s Winson Ho that we knew. He’s real good.

The poster is literally everywhere. If you notice the second image on the right, they photoshop’ed the face of him.

Visit Back To School

I had some opportunity to drop by one of their biggest design faculty? Maybe I’m wrong, but I was informed that in SG, there are only 2 places that is offering design courses. *cough* hint mr.hoi *cough.

But surprisingly, I found out that most of my college graduated from here, NYP, Nanyang Polytechnics.

The main door, saying ”What A Catch?“. It seems like that they are looking for employment opportunity after graduation.

One of the student’s namecard.  This student was also an intern back in the office few months ago.

Basically there are 3 disciplines inside that is exhibited. Animation/3D, Interactive and Games Design.

The hall are…big.

Some colleagues in front. Some looks even younger than me.

What’s back at home?

This is my new room! *Jumps*

But as I were excited to go back Malaysia during the weekend, which it seems across the Malaysia Custom doesn’t seem to be flooded with people because back in SG, they’re really strict in letting car and lorry to pass. You know.

But it seems like I end up in a hole of CONage. Some mother-fucker sold me a ticket back to KL during the eve of election at RM45. And what kind of bus I’m in?

Yes, school bus.

What the  fuck with this place? Why isn’t there is a control for this?!

My lovely newphew. Love them so much.

Chilling Genting

Weekend over Singapore

Near the place I stay.

Some really exciting food here. Superdog, what do they sell? Hot dog! It tastes really good.

What’s next after that? A trip down to the south. First time. Took the cable car.

Look below. The size is humongous, the comparison side by side to the ship. lol.

Some really weird coconut tree.  It looks anorexic to me. Compared to some we usually see back then.

Some spinning tower that allows you to see the aerial view (almost) of the place.

The exhibition ticket.

No it’s not human.

It was a sunny day. But it seems, we didn’t go down to the beach. Perhaps, next time.

Got this toy at some weird shop. Who wants a lucky draw?

Going back. Again.

This time around, took FirstCoach from Novena Square, Novena MRT. Was pretty comfortable with the price of RM60++. Was fucking better than the school bus.

And they are soooooooo on time that they literally move the bus as the clock struck 4:30 P.M. Amazing.

And it stops at Bangsar.

But what are these?

LRT from bangsar. To KL Sentral. Ticket = RM1.

I was shocked when I saw this on the wall of KL Sentral. Noticed is from Shieko and friends. Interesting.

Back in SG.

Some really interesting poster I was back when taking MRT in SG.
