[Part 3] Shanghai Life
Apparently my connection has been acting like a bitch lately, making me mad and taking hours just to open up a new page. But somehow working as freelancer is not as what I imagined earlier would be easy though. When you are juggling different task at one time while you need to keep your mind clear and stable, in a way that you wouldn’t end up overloading yourself with stress from half-stalled work. Imagine typing over this pile of xxxxxx hell over 5 times. God damn it.

Coming back from the previous post where I was walking down the street that is known as HuaiHai Road. Filled with interactive billboard and advertisements all the whole long road.

This is normally how it looks like outside where I stayed. A football field where it’s normally crowded with people most of the time?

One of the local favourite stall for Bubble Tea. They had malt in it!

And we then walk nearby the famous local ramen chainstore for dinner. Ajisen they called it. And I noticed Pyramid will have one opening really soon.

Morning walk.

That is how normally the houses around the city will look like for the richer people. You can see a myriad of style in it. European mixes with Eastern tastes.

Looking from the level of 26.

Notice how the local rice looks like? It’s surprsingly similar to Taiwan where it’s more rounded in shape and short. Tiny I would say and it’s tasty.

Curry Chicken rice. No it’s not spicy.

It costs less than RM10 for both? If my memory serves me well.

This is my only coat that I wear against the cold weather.

It’s 50cent! Literally. Probably the design or the newer notes has lesser details compared to this. On the other hand, Wu Jiao can also mean five-legs.

Visiting LinYew, Yeo and Billy.

They had a new media installation exhibition inside.
MAYDAY! MAY DAY!

Surprisingly the night after work, there’s a lot of people surrounding the place.

And quickly met up with Ram and tuchin? (hoven’s friend) for a nostalgic reunion.

Of course we intended to have a quick grab on cheap affordable seats inside the stadium.

Lots of people. Police as well.

And they were dying for this so-called Yellow Cow Ticket. Which is supposingly they would sell the ticket at higher price than they bought, but most of the time it will end up cheaper than what you get initially from the ticket seller. Probably 50% less? But one should aware that there’s a lot of con man in this case with fake tickets. You should make sure that the ticket will able to get you in before paying them.

And wondering why the hell people standing near the gates, for no apparent reason.

And this is somewhere below the stadium where they held a post-concert celebration dinner here.

Lol. We didn’t make it in there. No tickets anymore.

Bought some really tasty coffee instead.

Listening from the room, is even louder and better.

Everyone was like rushing to leave back to home after the concert.

Supper time.

Waking up from the morning

Another shot of tasty flavour.

And we decided to talk a walk down the malls for survey on iPhones.

Look Ma! It’s new media installation! And it’s soooo normal there.

Went to had some small change for arcade beat-em-up.

I got owned totally in Street Fighter EX PLUS 2. Well.

Lunch happens right after that, a card that you’ll need to buy food. Imagine, touch N go.

Nice coke? Really?

It costs 6RMB inside the mall. Wtf?

Some pseudo-3D-holographic advertisement.

A whole mall that’s filled with mobile phone only. That’s like entirely different compared to Lowyat with only 1 floor. Anyway from what I have noticed, you can find absolutely everywhere on PSP, and it felt like it’s like your toothpaste where you’ll need for daily brushing.

Not long after that, a walk few down the steps brought me back to this mall. And there’s more to come in front…
