[Part 2] Shanghai Night

And here we go again with the second part of the journey log and I do hope you enjoy it so far.

I’ll pick up on where we left off at the large shopping mall. And they had this mega event in the concord area inside the mall.

And indeed no one’s there anymore because there is nothing much left to see. They even close it with some thin layer of paper.

Giodano is slightly different in their place…Concept you say…rings a familiar sound? The Concept Store? Ehem.

Remember the huge ball earlier? This one animates at night. Literally with animation.

At night you’ll notice that this mall is their KLCC version, the twin tower of Gang’Hui.

Walking few metres down the mall will lead me to this street filled with snacks and people.

That’s street filled with brands ahead. You name it. Levi’s, Bossini, Adidas etc etc.

Oh the local car! It’s named QQ. Talk about dejavu and coincidence, at first I’d thought this is decent until most of the local people here diss this car are its being a sissy car. Well, not only that, later in my trip this car left a very deep memory in me. A dark one.

It’s not an ordinary tiang you would normally expect. It ANIMATES.

That’s lockSIN’s mini table setup. Cool eh.

And from the room of Hoven and Sin we’ll able to see stadium next to it. What’s about it? You’ll probably know more later.

Really a lot of cool stuff around.

Looks tasty no? This is one of their local brand where it acts like our beloved McD which they literally sends their food to our doorstep. Xi Net Life is what they call themselves in English and Xi’Nian’Lai is the actual pinyin.

And look, this is the intersection, that I remembered almost freezes myself. Damn cold outside.

And next time, I learnt something that you shouldn’t just stick your card inside any hole you found on foreign country, unless it’s certified, you never know they might scare you off with not giving back your card. I almost shock to dead.

Local taxi, VW! Oh well, nothing to brag about, it’s kinda a local brand here. Same brand different production. SVW actually.

The local Polo Bun which is pretty nice to eat.

Note that stuff up there? The owner of the shop are reluctant to sell it away even the offer reaches 7000 RMB in value!

And of course he kept scratching his head wondering how the hell a piece of plastic can worth so much…

A walk down the park

What he is doing you might ask? flying kite. literally.

And they runs through this place to get the kite up. Of course, it’s being designed to allow people to fly kite i presume.
