It might be a decade ago since I’ve put up a proper update on what I have done lately. Besides from restructuring my life in terms of career and getting my new portfolio site up. I guess I’m really grateful to get invited by pipit for a crossover project with Nike Malaysia. I was shocked and glad at the same time to apply something that I felt is right onto a canvas that would be publicly viewed.

The original figure is big enough where I get to feel the taste of applying random/thoughtful design onto it. Anticipation at its max.

Head on the jump for a full Work In Progress that I’ve compiled for this short yet memorable project for me.
I guess there is nothing more exciting than to open a box of new toy, when you’re still a child back.
The packaging were awesome. And it’s almost airtight?
And while it may be free for whatever theme or design we can use on this, there is still a guideline that we have to follow. The prominent line and the logo has to stay.
Starting the work
It took quite a while to outline this stuff from scratch. Had to try on various ink before finalizing it. CD/DVD writer works best on this surface I guess.
Completed the leg and hand partially.
Working up details
Adding more lines and a little touch of colour.

Finishing Up
I guess I had to resort on using some clear paint for finishing this stuff due to the ink might wear off and smear from my sweaty palm.
It’s now properly coated with a layer of clear paint?

It took considerably one week for this to complete with a on and off schedule. And we (tuckloong and teckyew participated as well) had to submit it to the office 1 week later.
