Outrun Trip – Cameron Highlands
Some off topic brag here.

The 1-Day Outrun trip.
Mission Cameron Highland. Surprisingly this can be very satisfying. Acknowledging the place itself is a spot for people looking peace, meditation and calmness, you’ll find it’s absolutely nowhere near Sunway or KL. Shame on our city’s traffic.
Just right outside the housing area, where i was about to launch my mission, there’s a crime scene. Good god.
There’s nothing much to comment on the driving journey since it’s a breeze and a straight stretch up to 200k.m. Of course you have to check your car’s condition beforehand.
Bidor
And if you’re really trying to enjoy the journey, you’ll probably drop by at one of the toll which brings you to Bidor at Perak. There’s this one infamous cookie shop called Pun Chun that is specialize in making ‘Little Chicken cookies’ if translated literally from Chinese. You can try their old-style coffee or the WanTan Mee which is around R.M. 4.70. A good pitstop to drop by before continue your journey.

To my suprise, the distant between Bidor’s toll and the junction to Cameron Highlands was like 30K.M. or less. But that’s just the start of a…journey.
Realizing after the turn from highway, there’s approximate around 60K.M. to go if we want to reach the destination. That’s hell of a distant considering the amount of length you need your car to climb up the mountain. Trust me, the experience is different from going up at Genting Highlands.

This is half of the journey, probably around 40% of the entire mount climbing which there’s this ‘commercial’ waterfall.

And of course throughout the entire journey, it’s all good mother nature’s creation. All just nice.
Going up and up, you’ll know that you don’t even need to switch on the air cond, it’s really cold out there.
The first town that you’ll see, Ringlet. Rather quiet.
A drop at the town’s beauty.
Do not mind me, but this place will be the first choice for me annually to search for stress relieving medication. A tea shop. And well, the views just spectacular. And of course I have to graciously thank Ning for being so patience to show me around the place. Really amazing.

Strawberry farm. And seriously I had some weird deja vu that i’ve been here in my dream.

Purrrtiful plants. And no, you can’t pluck it right the farm to eat the berries, you have to purchase it.

The infamous pasar malam.

Up the hill for a cozy chilly market.

A good lunch not necessarily has to be big in portion and looks fantastically beautiful? Very classic drink lol.

Some classic looking disc. Pancake?

Some say it’s totally wified for this pit stop. The Tapah’s R&R.

And that concludes a one day trip outrunning to the top of the hill and back down. It’s really mesmerizing for me at least, being at least more than 10 years since my last visit, no wonder Mr.Kenny’s favourite place it would be. But of course, calling it as a super happening place, it’s not, but it’s enough to be a spot for seeking peace. lol.
